Villa Players Learn the Haka

Think that I have found the reason that the Villa have been playing a lot better lately, it seems that DOL has taken a bit of a lead from the All Blacks and learnt the Villa Players the Maori wardance "the Haka". From the picture, Little Lee seems to be well engrossed with the proceedings, closly followed by Ronny and Jlloyd.

Fantastic to see that Jlloyd has been called into the England Squad for the friendly against Sweden. He has added a lot of consistency to his game this year to match his undoubted talent that has seen him become a regular in the Villa side over the last couple of seasons. Both of our England Internationals have come through the Villa Youth scheme. Long may it continue.

King Olaf of Sweden has been quoted that he may extend his stay at VP. Even though he has had a couple of dodgy games this season, he is still class act, and as we have to keep telling ourselves in reference to the Slumdwellers. Form is temporary. Class is forever.

Takeover talk - Not commented on this Blog reagrding the situation, but it looks like there is an air of optimism surrounding Villa at the moment. All dictators finally fall on their sword and our very own looks like he has finally had enough. Out of the frying pan into the fire .. I don't know, but whatever happens the stagnation at our club may be drawing to a close. Lets just hope that the most important people at any club, ie. the fans, are consulted. A happy partnership means a happy club. I personally have had enough of the mediocrity that surrounds our club under the present regime. As the VFC state, "club for sale - time for change". I thought to be honest that this was a bit pie in the sky, but things have definitely moved with a confirmed bid this week. Let all us supporters pull in one direction to make what ever changes to be positive ones. No more back biting eh boys???
