Daniel & The FA Cup

We were walking through Cheltenham early on Saturday when we noticed a large security presence in the Regent Arcade, probably about 8 or 9 of them all looking rather shifty.

Anyway, about 2 hours later on a freezing cold day, we decided (rather luckily) to head back through the arcade. We're wandering back through when we realised what the fuss had been about.

The FA Cup had come to town!

One of the guys looking after the trophy came up to us as we were stood there looking at it and asked it we'd like to have a photo next to it. Daniel very carefully put his hand on the left side handle, aware that this silver thing was obviously important.

The nearest I'd ever come to seeing the trophy in real life was Wembley 2000, but after seeing us lose and clapping the boys off I had no absolutely intention of seeing D*nnis W*se lift that thing in the air.

Then that was it. I was so pleased I had my phone on me (as it has a relatively decent camera on it) and my little boy will have a constant reminder that he touched the most famous of trophies. After a weekend of being so well behaved, swimming, eating out and going to friends - it's the least he deserves.

I just hope he remembers the time he touched this wonderful trophy - as an Aston Villa supporter he may never get to see it ever again!

Umbro in "Smallest of changes" shock!

There's virtually no difference! The only thing missing from this "official" pic are the blue parts that run from the shoulder to the middle.

Umbro doing what they do best and changing a shirt as little as possible before the mass advertising of the "brand new" product. People who pay any more than £15 for this need help.
