Small Time

Wednesday night reminded me why I haven't spent my money on football so much over the last three years.

The big 4, blah, blah, blah - but Chelsea? Hardly a big club in any sense of the word but the continual antics of Terry and Cole make me sick. Cole's tackle on Hutton was far worse than that of Taylor's on Eduardo but his pathetic reaction to Mike Riley was farcical.

I'd expect better of a three year old. As for Terry, it's about time someone took him to task for forever hassling referee's - I don't quite know who he thinks he is.

Now their youth team appear to be on the same road as their mentors. After beating Villa in the Semi-Final they make gestures and mouth obscenities at home fans, including kids. There is a massive difference between youthful joy and what they were doing.

One day Abramovich will grow tired of his toy and Chelsea will disappear back up their own arse. The new fans who think it's the cool thing to support them will go back to playing tennis and they'll end up with the 15-20,000 who used to follow them before.

Yesterday we have Javier Mascherano, who like Cole just couldn't keep his gob shut. After his very bookable tackle he clearly told Steve Bennett to "f*ck off" at least four times. After three of four times Bennett had enough and rightly sent him off.

Not that he'll care - massive wages and a few weeks off - lovely.

...and as for Villa it appears the season is done. One point from Boro and Sunderland just wasn't in the script and we've just hit a brick wall. Yet look around and hear the contempt for Martin O'Neill and the moronic few who think it's time for change yet again.

I despair - I just haven't got the time of day for them. God help us if he leaves.
