I watched the highlights of last night's game on MOD and threw something at the telly afterwards. Even Alan Shearer said that Carew's goal should have stood; after all Sibierski was pushing Carew - not the other way around. I despair of refs sometimes. MON was right when he said it came at a crucial part of the game. I do believe the result would have been very different if we had scored. I read a few reports in the dailies and not all acknowledged that the goal was incorrectly ruled out. Still,the new boys did good and as Shearer pointed out, it bodes well for the future. Notice how Gary Lineker couldn't help but point out that it was still a win for NEWCASTLE! Once a Leicester lad.....

I admit to feeling uneasy about the next few weeks and I had so hoped that by this time in the season we wouldn't be worrying about results - but here we are again. Is it ever going to get any better? Carew looks as though he may be worthy of wearing the number 10 shirt if he carries on in the way he has started. 'Carewmania.? It doesn't have the same ring though, does it!? I should be stripping my youngest son's bedroom ceiling instead of nattering on here so I'm off. Cheers, one and all!
