Nice to see the Villa boys get a runout in an international. A bit longer next time though Sven.

Darius always runs his legs off, and last night was no exception, while Gareth didn't really have time at all to do anything, but he did almost nick a third right at the death.

However, the best performance by a Villa player was Hitz, who scored against the Republic of Ireland in an Under 21 friendly on Monday night. A stinging shot aparently, but was a bit of a shock as he was INSIDE the penalty area. Surely this can't be right?

Still no transfer news. Maybe the kitty is empty. But surely Doug would never let that happen, would he?

God, this is going to be a long, drawn out summer break. I need a holiday....
