Which leads me nicely onto Lee Hendrie. "Everything will be sorted by the time he next pulls on a Villa shirt" said our beloved leader refering to the ongoing contract saga. Some wags at the time suggested that this will mean that Hendrie is out of the team for a while, but I for one thought brilliant. By the time we play Reading he'll have signed for another five years. Don't forget, this is the kid who has already done a "Beckham" and declared that he want's to stay for his entire career. However, things today, on the eve of the Reading game, seems no further forward than they were when the contract news broke. So it seems that the wags have won. For a while anyway. Three more days of Bombing, and a tube strike, and I'll be on holiday! Yay!
