Bloody hell doesn't time fly?

I keep meaning to have a few words about Gawweth Bawwy, but frankly he has been so bloody stupid he ain't worth talking about.

Still if his best new friend Stevie Mbe (Question: who is a Guardian Fiver reader then? Yup, me!) really wants to hold his hand in the dressing woom perhaps he will put his hand in his own pocket to subsidise the purchase. It is obvious that Rafa thought he'd be able to blag his way through the deal the way so many bastards did with Smellis and when push came to it there wasn't actually any money or real intent to actually pay the real price for him.

Rafa has probably been watching that little bald hobbit on telly blagging discount off Black's the camping specialists or PC World (by telling them they were on telly) and thought he'd have a go with a little club in the Midlands.

Tough shit Rafa, go swivel or pay the money!

I am not surprised Bawwy got the treatment last night in yamyam land, but he survived and no bugger got arrested that I heard of in the paper this morning.

My favourite scenario would be that any player responding to a "tapping up" incident should be suspended and we should keep his registration for two years before selling him abroad where he would have less chance of hurting us. But since GB has been so variable maybe we could sell him here and not worry.

Onwards and upwards

Sidwell had a mare in Odense, didn't he? Not too worried actually, he did fer-fer-ferckkk us up that time I had a free lunch at the Madejski with my sister and family and I expect he will be great for us after we get a settled look to the season's team selection (and a few bob for M.O'N to spend out of Scouseland)

And I hope the team can put a good one together this weekend for us, Intertwobob or not it would be nice to let the boys run around on a few continental grounds for summat better than a five quid friendly or two...

It is beginning to look just a tad more Amurricanish down the Villa isn't it? Yanks running around on the grass as well as Randy sitting up in the Gods watching them. I've just been watching the Midlands Today and Central Noos telling me we are up front to get Brad Friedl. (Time for name spelling lessons again) I rather like ol' Brad so I hope we can pull that one off.

BUT no chickens counted in Chef's kitchen till they are hatched...

How we doing for politics chaps, is it time for Murdoch R too drag all the dopy Sun readers down to the ballots again to save the Noo Labourites from the dole queue? I don't suppose it matters, we'll all be down in the queue by the time Brown has hung us out to dry.

Chelski, what a game, given an honest ref we might have had six points off Chelski rather than four, but I'll take what I can get for now thanks.

Overall a slowish steady rise oop t'table will do me for now.

Football wise this is getting to be a far better time to watch the Prem, some really great goals from all o'er the park.

None however nicer than Laursen's at Chelski, how he got up in the air so easily for that goal has me waking up wondering how he dunnit...
